Pubg Mobile India – Pre-Registrations start from May 18

Krafton today announced the date of pre-registration of its Battleground Mobile India, which is largely seen as a replacement for PUBG Mobile. The original game was banned in India in September last year along with several other Chinese apps. Pre-registration for the game will go live on the Google Play Store from May 18. There is probably no information about when the game will release, but it will be possible soon after the pre-registration link goes live. It is not clear when the game will release on iOS.

In a press statement, the company said it would have “specific prizes available for fans to claim if they pre-registered the game.” These awards will be exclusive to Indian players only. To pre-register, users will have to go to the Google Play Store and click on the pre-register button. Rewards will automatically be available to claim when the game launches. The game will be free to play for all users with in-app purchases, as previously seen in PUBG Mobile.

Although little is known about the upcoming game and whether it will actually be different from PUBG Mobile, Crafton posted a new teaser for the Sanhawk map on the official Facebook page. The poster shows the Ban Tai Map location from Sunhawk, one of the 4 × 4 maps available in the game. In September 2018, the map was added to PUBG Mobile. Based on the images shared so far, it seems that the game will be similar to the design and spirit of the original PUBG mobile with some tweaks for India.
